FAQs

 

“WHAT IF MY INSURANCE PLAN DOES NOT COVER THE COST OF MY THERAPY?”

No problem! If individuals want to seek therapy without us as part of their in-network plan, we can offer a specialized receipt for service (or “superbill”) that can then be submitted to your insurance provider. If services are accepted by the provider, they then reimburse the claimant (you) at their out-of-network rate.

 

“CAN I AND/OR WHY WOULD I PAY FOR THERAPY OUT-OF-POCKET?”

For some clients this may not be a feasible option, however, if that is the case we will do anything that we can to assist you with finding alternatives.

If clients are able to pay out of pocket expenses, the experience can become a much more personal one while being as equally private. With more private records, or no authorizations for service needing to be prepared for a provider, there may be an opportunity for more intensely connected therapy sessions.
